Finite Element Simulation Calculation and Optimal Design of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

In order to promote the development of green energy applications, this paper selects a 4-pole 24-slot surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor and performs finite element simulation and optimization design on it. Firstly, finite element analysis is carried out, and the performance of the motor is verified by finite element simulation. Then, the parameterized simulation and sensitivity analysis of cogging torque and three-phase current are performed by selecting the variables of permanent magnet thickness, stator inner diameter, slot width, and air gap. Finally, simulation experiments provide optimization for each variable for the motor.
