The position of the track is defined as a course of the track in its ground plan. [1] In the simplest way the course of track can be defined as an axis, which is constructed not only from straight parts, but from the arcs and transit curves as well. In consideration of the normative changes it is necessary to change the point of view on measuring of track geometry parameters and hand in hand to adjust the way of processing and the results interpretation.
