A Review of Transmission Development Planning Based on Risk Evaluation

The paper summarizes the methods about the transmission development planning which considers risk factors. It introduces the transmission network flexible planning method based on the uncertain factors, the mathematical optimization method and a heuristic method. Then we discuss the way to deal with risks about transmission network planning. Given that, we proposed the future research direction.
