Cathodic protection with galvanic anodes – 25 years of experience with projects and monitoring results

In the Netherlands, various types of anodes have been applied in GCP systems installed since 2000, each with its advantages and disadvantages, specific characteristics and area of application. In these 25 years, much experience has been gained, from which lessons can be learned and recommendations made regarding future use and applications. A number of typical and noteworthy cases with a long track record are discussed.
