A portable plant growth information acquisition and management system based on WIFI was developed to monitor plant growth status by the non - picking leaves. It uses STM32 as main control chip. The chlorophyll characterization value SPAD and water characterization value WI were obtained with the transmittance of plant leaves under the light of 650, 940 and 1450nm, and the fluorescence images were obtained by 460nm excitation chlorophyll fluorescence to analyze the infection of the disease. The nitrogen content of the leaves can be retrieved with the fluorescence parameter Rfd. The software of the upper computer, which adopts the B/S architecture, is designed to manage and display the data based on the JAVA language. The stability and reliability of the designed system are verified by field application.
